Election for the President, Vice-President, auditors and councilors

Dear Colleagues:
We will carry out election for the President, Vice-President, auditors and councilors of the Oceanographic Society of Japan for the years of 2011 and 2012, as below.
1. Deadline of candidacy and candidate recommendation for the election:
October 22, 2010
Address of delivery: JOS election administration committee
c/o Mainichi Academic Forum Inc. (MAF)
9th floor Palaceside bldg,1-1-1 Hitotsubashi, Chiyoda-ku
Tokyo 100-0003, JAPAN
In recommending, please append the release form of the person who is recommended. Please note that limits of the term to stay at the same official position for President, Vice-President, and auditors will be two terms (four years).
2. Date of sending out election bulletin and voting slip: November 12, 2010
3. Poll closing: December 1, 2010
4. Numbers of councilors（Overseas）: two
