JOS Spring meeting in 2008 was held from 26 March to 30 March, at Tokyo University of Marine Science and Technology, in Shinagawa, Tokyo.
Fall meeting in 2008
JOS Fall meeting in 2008 was held from 24 September to 28 September, at Hirosima International University, in Kure, Hiroshima.
Spring meeting in 2009
JOS Spring meeting in 2009 will be held from 5 April to 9 April, at The University of Tokyo in Hongo, Tokyo.
The announcement and the call for papers have been published in Oceanography in Japan (Umi no Kenkyu) Vol.17, No.6.
